Leading - compression spring

The compression spring is one of the classic spring elements. These are often referred to as cylindrical coil springs. The compression spring or pressure spring are manufactured by Schnoering exclusively using cold forming and diameters of approx. 0.2 to 2.0 mm.

Depending on the spring geometry and customer request these are manufactured on suitable mechanical or NC-controlled machines. Depending on the customer's request the most diverse materials are used which are tailored to the technical requirements. In particular stainless metals, current-carrying materials and carbon wires are processed with high precision to the compression spring. In order to ensure a consistent quality spring by spring in large quantities there is a 100-percent control within the coordinated manufacturing process. If desired the surface of the compression spring can also be finished. Every common surface refinement is possible.

Small compression spring = big technical demand

Small - but resilient. The technical demand to a compression spring gets bigger while the dimensions get smaller. Our products perform reliable also in the medical technology, the electrical industry, the furniture industry or with the manufacturers of household goods.

The strength of our production concepts is to manufacture springs in large numbers precisely either the first spring or the hundred thousandth spring.

Next to technical individuality a high level of expertise is required in addition to precision. On the way to the perfect compression spring we support our customers from the conceptual design through the development of a usable prototype up to the selection of the optimal process. In particular Schnoering is the specialist for the processing of high-strength and stainless material. The design of the springs is supported by special calculation programs to create the optimum spring geometry. Depending on the make of the particular compression spring special processes are used.
